July 3-5, 2026

Established in 2000, Placencia Lobsterfest is held the first weekend in July to celebrate the opening of Caribbean Spiny Lobster Season here in Belize. On the beautiful Point Beach, this festival draws visitors from near and far to enjoy a weekend of fun and excitement and, of course, delicious lobster dishes. Organized by the Placencia Village Council and the Belize Tourism Industry Association, the event is also a fundraising oppurtunity for community innitatives and supports critical operations on the peninsula. Come and enjoy the bands, DJs, fireworks, arts & crafts vendors, food, and beverages on the beach in Placencia Village.
